World of Warcraft Forever Sees First Level 60 Milestone Reached in Three Days

Streamer JokerD and his group have secured the world first level 60 milestone in World of Warcraft Forever just three days following release.

Speedrunning players have pushed to the level cap in World of Warcraft Forever just three days after its release, defying developer suggestions to take things slow. Streamer JokerD, who originally claimed the first level 60 in World of Warcraft Classic, spearheaded the effort alongside a coordinated group of primarily Undead characters and one Troll.

The team took advantage of area-of-effect abilities to eliminate packed clusters of monsters quickly. A recent balance adjustment to the Undead racial ability Cannibalize, which now replenishes mana, eliminated almost all downtime between large combat engagements. The strategy allowed the squad to establish a significant lead over the nearest competitor, who remained at level 53 as the first characters reached level 60.

Early arrivals at the level ceiling will have to wait for top-tier PvE content, as the game's initial raids—Barrow Deeps, Hyjal Summit, and Onyxia's Lair—do not launch until December 9. Principal game designer Kris Zierhut previously highlighted that the design encourages raising multiple alternate characters along diverse leveling paths while awaiting endgame phases.
