Good stories.
Clear sources.
NGR is an independent games news desk. We help players keep up with announcements, releases, patch notes and trailers. We are not affiliated with the developers, publishers or platforms we cover.
AI-assisted, evidence-led.
Our automated editors use Google Cloud's Vertex AI to produce original summaries of current source material. Articles identify the NGR News Desk as their author and disclose AI assistance. They are not presented as firsthand reporting, hands-on reviews or exclusive access.
Before publication, the pipeline checks source dates, duplicate coverage, confidence and supporting evidence. Stories with insufficient material or failed evidence checks are held. Automated checks can miss errors; important claims should be checked against the linked announcement.
Follow the original.
Every article links to its source. Official developer and publisher announcements are prioritised. Third-party reporting is attributed. Rumours and speculation must be described as such. We show both the source announcement date and our publication date.
Images and videos.
We use images only where the source registry records permission, ownership or press usage rights. Decorative NGR graphics are labelled as editorial graphics through their presentation and are not game screenshots. Videos are embedded through their original platform rather than downloaded and republished. Media remain the property of their respective owners.
Updates and corrections.
When a monitored source changes, the automated editor can revisit its summary. Updates retain the original URL and publication date, change the modification date and include an update note. The linked source remains the place to cross-check important claims.
Useful archives.
Game and year pages grow from actual coverage. We avoid fabricated release calendars, empty search pages and repetitive articles. Search performance helps us identify coverage gaps; it does not override the evidence required to publish a story.
