Wardogs Season 2 Adds Incentives for Blue Team Alongside Major Update
Wardogs developer Bulkhead is offering in-game currency and XP bonuses for choosing Blue team in Season 2, arriving alongside map adjustments and new content.
Developer Bulkhead is attempting to balance team selection in Wardogs by rewarding players who side with the struggling Blue team. Starting in Season 2, choosing Lonestar will grant extra in-game cash and XP bonuses, aimed at encouraging users to stop avoiding the faction and waiting out queues for Green or Red.
Beyond financial incentives, the studio is tackling gameplay hurdles that contributed to lower win rates. Lonestar has faced challenges such as noticeable camouflage issues and difficult spawn positioning, leading Bulkhead to implement a revised Bakurani spawn to help level the field.
The Season 2 update is scheduled to roll out on October 15 and introduces a broad range of additions, including new firearms, vehicles, and rainy environmental effects across every map. The update also initiates the title's inaugural progression wipe, resetting all active players back to level 1.
