Grand Theft Auto VI Pre-Load Date and Hefty Storage Requirement Revealed

PlayStation has outlined launch preparations for Grand Theft Auto VI, confirming that pre-downloads will officially open ahead of the game's November 19 release on PlayStation 5. Players who pre-order digitally through the PlayStation Store will be able to begin installing the title on November 10 at local midnight.

Installing the upcoming open-world title will demand substantial drive space. The initial setup requires clearing a minimum of 212GB on the PlayStation 5 console, prompting users to manage existing data or expand internal solid-state drive storage before the pre-download window opens.

Additionally, an Ultimate Edition pre-order option was highlighted, offering exclusive vehicles, weaponry, and outfits tied to protagonists Jason and Lucia. More information regarding the release is expected to arrive as the November launch date approaches.
