Classic monster brawler Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered is scheduled to debut on PlayStation 5 on November 3. The updated fighting game lets players command an array of colossal beasts across city-leveling arenas, bringing the franchise's chaotic multiplayer clashes to modern hardware.
The remastered title features a roster of 12 distinct monsters, each equipped with dedicated stats, combo strings, and unique mechanics. Combatants include Heisei Godzilla, Godzilla 2000, King Ghidorah, Anguirus, Megalon, Gigan, Destoroyah, Rodan, Mecha-King Ghidorah, Mechagodzilla, Orga, and Kiryu.
Each creature caters to different fighting archetypes, ranging from counter-attacking defensive specialists like Anguirus and hit-and-run aerial fighters like Rodan to powerhouse tank options such as Destoroyah and long-range grapplers like Orga. The mechanical variants Mechagodzilla and Kiryu contrast between heavy arsenal zoning and balanced cyborg skirmishing.
Announced release date: 3 Nov 2026
