The classic arena fighter returns as Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee Remastered, reviving the licensed brawler across modern platforms. The updated edition features a 12-character lineup, launching with Godzilla, Gigan, Megalon, and Anguirus ready to fight while the remaining combatants are unlocked through progression systems like research points and experience.

Players can engage in various solo and multiplayer options, including a narrative Adventure mode, a city-leveling Destruction mode, Survival, and custom matches. Single-player progression also incorporates higher-difficulty Gauntlet challenges unlocked as monsters level up. Matches retain signature kaiju moves alongside environmental combat where players can grab structures, vehicles, and boulders to throw at foes.

Visually, the remaster delivers enhanced monster models, sharpened user interfaces, and clearer arenas. In addition to local versus play, online matchmaking is supported alongside the returning arcade-style modes. The title is scheduled to arrive on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, and Switch 2 on November 3, 2026.

Announced release date: 3 Nov 2026
