Gears of War Marks 20th Anniversary with E-Day Event and Season 2 Update

The Coalition is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the Gears of War franchise by introducing special anniversary content into Gears of War: E-Day. The milestone is being commemorated with a two-week event offering unique game modes, unlockable rewards, and a free character gift for all active players.

During the celebratory event, players can jump into Guardian in the Versus playlist or test their loadouts in the For the Queen variant within Horde Siege, where the usual supply cache has been deactivated. Additionally, every player can instantly claim RAAM as a free multiplayer character simply by logging into the game.

Looking ahead, The Coalition confirmed that Season 2: Legacy will officially launch on December 1. The upcoming season is designed to honor the series' history by reintroducing classic franchise maps, modes, and multiplayer cosmetics, including a newly reimagined Solemn Memories Dom character skin.
