Cyberpunk 2077 Update 2.5 Revealed Alongside Edgerunners Season 2 Tie-In

CD Projekt Red has revealed that another major update is heading to Cyberpunk 2077. The upcoming version 2.5 update is scheduled to launch on October 22, 2026, and is being developed in collaboration with the upcoming second season of the spin-off anime series, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners.

Ahead of the rollout, the studio is hosting a REDstream broadcast to outline the full contents of the release. Early details shared by the developer highlight the introduction of cyberware customization options alongside a brand-new dual-wielding playstyle, with additional additions planned for the patch.
