A fresh update inspired by the latest season of the Netflix series Edgerunners has been deployed for Cyberpunk 2077 on Nintendo's Switch 2 hardware. However, the rollout has introduced a variety of technical hurdles that are disrupting the gameplay experience for many users.
Following the deployment of the 2.5 patch, players have highlighted widespread complications. The documented problems range from total application crashes and stalled loading screens to broader performance instability, as well as errors corrupting profiles and saved game progress.
Due to the severity of these performance drops and glitches, some members of the community have labeled the current Nintendo release essentially unplayable. Further fixes may be required to stabilize Night City on the platform.
