CD Projekt has unveiled the details for Cyberpunk 2077 update 2.5, delivering a substantial wave of new gameplay mechanics, side missions, visual customization, and quality-of-life adjustments. Among the headline additions is a brand-new perk in the Cool attribute tree dubbed Double Trouble, which lets players dual-wield Power-category pistols and revolvers alongside four supporting auxiliary perks. Players can also modify the appearance of their arm cyberware—including Mantis Blades, Gorilla Arms, Monowire, and the Projectile Launch System—by visiting new Glamdoc shops around Night City.

The patch introduces cross-platform modding powered by mod.io across PC, Mac, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S, letting console and computer players download curated user creations directly from an in-game interface. Additional side content includes the Clampdown mission, connecting into the animated series Cyberpunk: Edgerunners 2 and rewarding gear modeled after the character King, as well as a new radio station, HKGN 102.0 FM. Explorers can also pursue a narrated tour of Night City in the Welcome to Paradise quest or hunt down twelve Minor Arcana tarot cards to expand the Fool on the Hill storyline.

Console users will finally gain access to a long-requested field of view (FOV) slider, while save management improves universally by organizing files under separate playthroughs. On the graphical and performance side, the patch introduces support for DLSS 4.5 featuring multi-frame generation capabilities, refined HDR color mapping, ray-tracing enhancements, and tailored optimizations for PlayStation 5 Pro alongside stability fixes across supported platforms.
