Bit Reactor Starts Rehiring Furloughed Developers Following Star Wars Zero Company Launch
Star Wars Zero Company developer Bit Reactor is bringing furloughed staff back onto its payroll, restoring over half of its earlier studio headcount.
Game development studio Bit Reactor has begun the process of restoring staff who were placed on furlough ahead of the release of Star Wars Zero Company. Team members affected by the earlier cuts are now being re-added to the company's active payroll.
According to reports, studio staffing levels have recovered significantly following the initial staff reductions. Total headcount currently on payroll has surpassed fifty percent of the numbers recorded prior to the furlough period.
Studio leadership has expressed an intention to keep rebuilding the team over time. Bit Reactor lead Greg Foertsch stated that the goal remains to rehire as many former team members as feasible as operations continue.
