New Blood Interactive and Saibot Studios have launched Tenebris Somnia, a retro-style survival horror title co-created by Andrés Borghi and Tobías Rusjan. Drawing inspiration from classic horror franchises like Resident Evil, Silent Hill, and Clock Tower, the game combines traditional pixelated exploration with cinematic live-action cutscenes.
The narrative follows Julia, who ends up stranded in a terrifying parallel reality while visiting her former partner. Players must navigate dreadful environments while being pursued by monstrous creatures, shifting between pixel-art graphics and live-action sequences depicting the horrifying threats.
The PC release is currently available with a launch discount on digital storefronts such as Fanatical for Steam users. The release expands the portfolio of publisher New Blood Interactive, widely known for titles like Ultrakill, Gloomwood, and Blood West.
