PlayStation Reveals Transparent Prism Collection Accessories for PS5

Sony has officially introduced the Prism Collection, bringing transparent aesthetics to PlayStation 5 hardware. The new lineup includes DualSense wireless controllers and matching console covers available in three distinct shades: Flare Orange, Emerald Green, and Graphite Gray. Each item features a see-through design paired with a glossy exterior finish to showcase the internal components of the hardware.

Designers behind the project stated the collection was inspired by retro transparent electronics from the late 1990s, updated to fit the modern industrial look of the PlayStation 5. The clear finish wraps around the back of the DualSense gamepad to display the internal mechanics, complemented by a metallic finish on the center plate to maintain visual contrast across the surface.

The accessory line is scheduled to release on February 4, 2027, with launch timing and retail distribution varying across different regions. While the DualSense controllers are planned for a global rollout, the matching console covers will be offered in limited quantities at select retail outlets.
