Capcom has detailed the launch timing for the upcoming Monster Hunter Wilds prologue demo on the Switch 2 platform. Players will be able to access the free download starting on October 19, 2026, following up on preliminary details shared by the publisher last month.
The upcoming trial is confirmed to include support for local play. In addition to letting players experience early portions of the game, the demo will allow hunters to transfer their saved progress directly into the retail version.
The full launch of Monster Hunter Wilds on Switch 2 is scheduled to follow several weeks later, arriving on December 4, 2026. This allows demo participants to get an early start ahead of the game's official release date.
