Helldivers 2 Celebrates Liberty Day with Free Weapon and Ship Visuals

Arrowhead Game Studios has launched this year's Liberty Day festivities in Helldivers 2, bringing seasonal visual updates and in-game rewards to active participants. For 24 hours on October 26, players visiting their Super Destroyers will find temporary holiday decorations, including custom banners, carpets, and party adornments.

Active players will also receive a complimentary firearm modeled after equipment from the First Galactic War: the AR-23L Liberator Legacy. Distribution of the rifle occurs at the conclusion of the event window, eligible for those who have logged in and played the game since September 26.

Outside the core game client, official community minigames have returned to the title's Discord server, such as Minidivers, Adopt-a-SEAF, and interactive chat stratagems. The studio also highlighted merchandise reward tie-ins tied to player level and mission milestones, as well as the game's ongoing inclusion in the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for Extra subscribers.
