Grand Theft Auto 6 Pre-Load Date, Install Size, and Screenshots Revealed Ahead of Launch

Rockstar reveals GTA 6 requires 212 GB of storage, with pre-loading opening on November 10 alongside newly released screenshots.

Rockstar Games has confirmed critical technical details ahead of the launch of Grand Theft Auto 6. The upcoming open-world title will demand a massive 212 GB download, representing a considerable portion of available internal storage on platforms like the PlayStation 5. To help players manage the hefty install, pre-loading officially opens on November 10.

Alongside the installation metrics, Rockstar published 39 new screenshots offering fresh glimpses of Vice City and central characters Jason and Lucia. The images also confirmed the inclusion of rapper Kodak Black as an in-game non-playable character, sparking community discussion regarding other potential musical artist cameos in the title.

The impending release has spurred third-party initiatives as well, including an internet speed promotion from provider Spectrum to shorten download times. With the promotional campaign winding down following an earlier trailer release, players are preparing for the digital rollout during the nine-day pre-load period.
