Fans Deploy Mobile Billboard to EA Headquarters in Mass Effect Campaign
Mass Effect supporters have driven a billboard truck to Electronic Arts headquarters following the shutdown of BioWare and the franchise's pause.
Dedicated BioWare community members have taken their campaign directly to Electronic Arts, deploying a mobile billboard truck outside the publisher's headquarters in Redwood City, California. Organized under the banner of We are Mass Effect alongside creator Kala Elizabeth, the moving display urges the publisher to revisit the sci-fi property after the studio was shut down and active development on the franchise was halted.
The truck showcases campaign links alongside QR codes directing onlookers to an online petition that has gathered over 300,000 signatures. Following previous publicity stunts, including a Times Square billboard, the organizers plan to navigate additional vehicles around BioWare's past office space as well as the upcoming venue for The Game Awards next month.
Beyond physical protests, the campaign is coordinating an online push for the annual N7 Day event on November 7. Planned activities include a tribute video featuring original voice actors Jennifer Hale and Mark Meer, as well as a community initiative encouraging players to log into Mass Effect: Legendary Edition on Steam to bolster concurrent user statistics.
