Warframe Reveals Epoch Operation: Taubound Community Event and Prologue Quest

Digital Extremes has revealed a new limited-time cooperative campaign for Warframe titled Epoch Operation: Taubound, running from October 15 through November 17. The event tasks players with joining forces to prepare an expedition toward the long-teased distant star system, Tau. Participants will deploy to missions on Eris across the Origin System to eliminate Infested forces and secure a fresh resource known as Moonflesh.

The collected Moonflesh will be used to charge up the Sentient Mothership, Praghasa, while serving as currency to exchange for special event items. Unlocks tied to the community effort feature fresh armor sets, event-exclusive Honoria, Somachords, and various cosmetics including Glyphs, Sigils, Floofs, Syandanas, Signas, Badges, and Blueprints.

Alongside the operation, the update adds permanent content through the Prologue to Tau cinematic quest, allowing players to directly control The Lotus for the first time. The narrative chapter also introduces a dedicated Eris stage where players command their customized Vessels against a massive Infested boss, unlocked after completing The Hex and The Old Peace storylines.
