NGRThe Eggcellent Dizzy Collection Brings Three Classic Titles to Sega Genesis
A new physical Sega Genesis cartridge, The Eggcellent Dizzy Collection, is slated for release in 2027 with three retro games.
Retro enthusiasts can look forward to a fresh physical release on classic hardware, as The Eggcellent Dizzy Collection has been announced for the Sega Genesis. Scheduled to launch in 2027, the compilation arrives as the vintage series approaches its 40th anniversary milestone.
The upcoming cartridge will package three distinct titles from the franchise: Dizzy the Adventurer, Go! Dizzy Go!, and Panic! Dizzy. The series' original creators are organizing this physical edition to commemorate the long-running British gaming property.
Starting out as an indie venture back in 1987, the Dizzy property grew into a recognized staple of British video game heritage. This new collection offers players an authentic cartridge format designed specifically for the legacy 16-bit console.
