Developer GPTRACK50 Inc. has showcased the mechanics behind Stupid Never Dies, a single-player pop-punk action title launching on October 21 for PC and PlayStation 5. The game places players in the role of Davy, an underdog zombie battling through a dungeon to conquer the King of Monsters and rescue a frozen companion. To introduce players to its systems, an updated free demo is currently accessible on both target platforms.

The gameplay loop heavily emphasizes non-stop offensive pressure. Davy balances standard strikes, vomit skills, and a high-risk parry that leaves recoverable health. Players restore lost vitality by charging a special gauge and biting enemies mid-combat. Devouring enemy cores also allows Davy to absorb abilities, offering temporary skills from standard monsters or full transformations from elite foes. The complete release will feature 11 distinct enemy styles, including movement-altering forms like the wall-jumping Werewolf and the gliding, projectile-hurling Harpy.

Dungeon runs operate under an overarching timer, challenging players to either reach escape zones with collected loot or lose their haul. Accumulated resources unlock cybernetic body modifications known as OT Gear alongside passive Zombie Skills. Although Davy returns to level one at the start of every expedition, a persistent progression mechanic grants escalating experience multipliers based on performance, accelerating growth across successive attempts.

Announced release date: 21 Oct 2026
