Saros Adds Eclipse Layers New Game Plus and Boss Rush in Free Zenith Update

Housemarque has released the free Zenith update for Saros, introducing a substantial suite of accessibility toggles alongside fresh endgame challenges. The patch aims to broaden the bullet-heavy action game's appeal while expanding post-game replay value with new modes and modifiers.

On the accessibility front, players can now utilize adjustable game speed options to slow down hostile encounters automatically or manually, providing extra reaction time without reducing projectile counts. The update also implements auto-fire aiming mechanics and motion sensor controls, allowing weapons to discharge on targets automatically while keeping manual timing intact for reloads.

For veteran players who have cleared the story, the update adds Eclipse Layers, a New Game Plus mode requiring specific configurations of Carcosan Modifiers to access harder difficulty rules. Tackling these trials enhances Arjun's crown visual effect and unlocks hidden vision collectibles across Carcosa. Additionally, an Overlord Rush boss challenge mode is now available from Passage, offering ranked runs across sets culminating in an eight-boss gauntlet.
