Razer Unveils Basilisk V4 Gaming Mice Featuring Instant 180-Degree Quick-Turn Button
Razer has revealed the Basilisk V4 Pro and HyperSpeed mice, introducing an 8K polling rate and a configurable button that instantly spins player aim 180 degrees.
Razer has officially introduced its latest gaming mouse lineup with the Basilisk V4, offering two distinct editions: the Basilisk V4 Pro and the Basilisk V4 HyperSpeed. Priced at $170, the Pro variant boasts a 50K optical sensor capable of 930 IPS tracking and 90G acceleration alongside Frame Sync technology. Meanwhile, the $110 HyperSpeed model is equipped with a 33K sensor and 500 IPS tracking. Both versions support 8K polling in wired as well as wireless setups.
The standout addition across both mice is a configurable side button supporting a feature dubbed Perfect 180 inside the Razer Synapse software. Aimed specifically at players who prefer low-sensitivity configurations, the function instantly rotates an in-game camera a full 180 degrees upon a single button press. This mechanic allows low-DPI users to spin completely around without requiring sweeping arm motions across a mouse pad.
Hardware updates also extend to the tactile design and power management. Both editions integrate Gen-4 optical tactile switches, a four-way tilt scroll wheel with free-spin functionality, and Chroma RGB lighting. For battery life, users can expect up to 200 hours when operating on 1,000 Hz HyperSpeed Wireless Gen-2, or up to 275 hours over Bluetooth 6.2, with support for wireless charging docks and compatible mats.
