Pokémon Unite Ending Service on Switch and Mobile in March 2027

The Pokémon Company announces that Pokémon Unite will shut down servers across both Nintendo Switch and mobile devices on March 23, 2027.

The Pokémon Company has officially confirmed that Pokémon Unite will be shutting down permanently. The free-to-play battle title will cease all online operations on March 23, 2027, concluding its lifespan across all active ecosystems.

The service termination applies universally to both the Nintendo Switch edition and the mobile version. This announcement follows sustained community speculation regarding the game's future after it was previously dropped from the official Pokémon World Championships lineup.

Active players will still be able to access the title until the scheduled shutdown date arrives. After the designated March 2027 deadline, servers will go offline, fully ending online match access and overall support for the multiplayer spin-off.
