The paranormal multiplayer title Once Human is preparing for its next seasonal update. Titled Dissonant Resonance, the upcoming fifth season is scheduled to launch on November 19, bringing an audiovisual twist to the survival game's ongoing storyline.
Central to the new season is an emphasis on sound and music mechanics. Players will encounter a massive pipe-organ leviathan that monitors the battlefield and alters combat conditions based on participant behavior during engagements.
The update also introduces a four-player raid where teams confront the leviathan directly. In this encounter, participants must work against the clock to defeat the boss before its backing musical piece ends, while handling dynamic environmental shifts synchronized with the song.
