Nintendo has established November 1 as an annual franchise holiday, pairing the event with updates for Pikmin 4 and Pikmin Bloom.
Nintendo has designated November 1 as an official annual holiday celebrating the Pikmin series. The date is now dedicated to honoring the long-running puzzle-strategy franchise as it reaches its 25-year milestone.
Famed creator Shigeru Miyamoto shared the declaration during a video broadcast focused entirely on the series. The presentation established the recurring observance to recognize the broader ecosystem of Pikmin games and media moving forward.
Alongside the ceremonial holiday designation, the broadcast highlighted forthcoming attention for existing titles. Players of Pikmin 4 and the mobile app Pikmin Bloom were treated to fresh updates to mark the occasion.
