Marvel Rivals Adds Avengers: Endgame Thanos PvE Boss Event

A brand-new limited-time event is arriving in Marvel Rivals, bringing a major cinematic confrontation to the game. Titled Path to Doomsday: Avengers Endgame, the mode introduces an expansive cooperative encounter designed to recreate the climatic battle from the 2019 film. The event is scheduled to launch on Friday evening in the United States.

The event tasks dozens of players with joining forces in a large-scale PvE confrontation against an enormous Thanos equipped with the Infinity Gauntlet. Set in an arena styled after the cinematic climax, the encounter builds upon previous cooperative events in the title, such as the earlier Age of Ultron murderbot battle, while scaling up the combat spectacle.

This mode also acts as an introductory bridge toward future content, with Marvel Rivals planning an additional tie-in for the upcoming theatrical release of Avengers: Doomsday. While specific mechanical details remain scarce ahead of launch, players can jump into the mode throughout the upcoming weekend.
