Konami Planning Second and Third Waves of Silent Hill Projects
Following the successful rollout of its initial releases, Konami is actively planning second and third waves of upcoming Silent Hill titles.

Konami intends to keep expanding its horror franchise with additional releases beyond its initial revival lineup. According to franchise producer Motoi Okamoto in a conversation with Famitsu, the publisher views its recent slate of titles as merely a starting point, with teams actively outlining second and third waves of future releases.
The publisher expressed satisfaction with both the commercial and critical reception garnered by its initial resurgence, which Okamoto labeled the first wave. While concrete details on the upcoming projects remain confidential, the team is evaluating multiple potential games to maintain long-term momentum rather than relying on a solitary release.
Among the future initiatives, Bloober Team is slated to develop a remake of the original 1999 Silent Hill title following its work on the Silent Hill 2 remake. Meanwhile, Konami has not officially confirmed whether other partner studios from the initial wave will return for subsequent projects in the pipeline.
