Interactive VR Experience Fabula Rasa Arrives on Quest This November
Arvore Immersive's AI-driven medieval VR title Fabula Rasa launches on Meta Quest on November 12, featuring dynamic improv dialogue.
VR studio Arvore Immersive has revealed that its upcoming interactive title, Fabula Rasa, will officially arrive on Meta Quest headsets on November 12. Known previously for projects like the Pixel Ripped series and Yuki, the studio's newest project sets players in a comedic medieval setting where spontaneous verbal interaction takes center stage.
Rather than relying on static dialogue trees, the experience utilizes large language models to fuel real-time conversations with non-player characters. Players assume the role of a captive suspended in a cage over a deadly monster pit, tasked with persuading nine different town residents to help them escape before meeting an unfortunate demise.
The studio partnered with improv comedians to refine how the AI-driven characters behave and react. To encourage repeated attempts, players can equip diverse costumes that elicit unique reactions, while individual choices dictate both the nature of the player's alleged offenses and the resulting path to freedom.
