Developer details have been revealed for Hozy, a cozy, stress-free home renovation simulator scheduled to arrive on PlayStation 5 on November 9. The experience emphasizes relaxation without timers, scores, or performance pressure across a storyline containing nine distinct levels. Each stage requires players to clean up, restore, and decorate interiors using tailored sets of furnishings and tools such as mops and crowbars.
The PlayStation 5 version leverages the DualSense wireless controller to provide a tactile experience. Adaptive triggers replicate mechanical resistance when tearing up floorboards, while distinct haptic feedback patterns accompany cleaning tasks and furniture placement. The controller's integrated speaker also outputs localized tool audio to match the game's reactive soundscape and dynamic music.
Beyond the nine narrative levels, players can access a Game+ mode to revisit previous locations with new furniture sets and toggles for day and night. Additionally, a dedicated Sandbox mode unlocks all in-game assets for unrestricted room design. The creators also confirmed upcoming support through seasonal events alongside both free and paid DLC packs.
