Lofty Sky Games and NAGA Games have revealed that narrative mystery adventure Hope in the City is scheduled to launch on November 11, 2026. The title will be available across PC via Steam and Xbox on PC, alongside Xbox Series X|S, and will arrive as a day-one release on Xbox Game Pass.
Set in Shenyang in Northeast China, the adventure follows 17-year-old aspiring artist Hope Song as she investigates the sudden disappearance of her parents. Rather than relying on traditional detective tools or police authority, players utilize Hope's personal sketchbook to document observations, gather clues from conversations, and analyze their surroundings.
The core gameplay revolves around pairing recorded thoughts inside the notebook to generate insights and breakthroughs, unlocking fresh dialogue choices and locations. To encourage exploration, the developers designed custom responses for every possible clue combination, while incorporating more than 100 hand-drawn sketches created by artist Calista Antonio.
Announced release date: 11 Nov 2026
