Triangle Factory has revealed that Forefront, its large-scale first-person shooter featuring 32-player combat, is heading to PlayStation VR2 on November 5. The tactical shooter already exists on PC VR, Quest, and Pico headsets, with the upcoming Sony release designed to expand the multiplayer community across all supported ecosystems.

The PlayStation VR2 edition will feature cross-play functionality connecting Sony players directly with users on PC VR and Quest. On the technical side, the game operates at 90Hz across both standard PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 5 Pro hardware, while taking advantage of platform-specific features such as adaptive triggers, headset haptic feedback, and upgraded visual fidelity.

This console VR debut follows the rollout of the major Operation: Sandstorm update. That patch brought significant additions to the title, including a fresh battle pass progression structure for obtaining cosmetics and firearms, an additional game mode, a melee option, and an extra gun to the shooter's arsenal.
