Don Bradman Cricket Jr Announced for PC and Consoles

Tru Blu Games has officially revealed Don Bradman Cricket Jr, introducing an arcade-leaning alternative to the cricket gaming market. Sporting stylized, blocky visuals, the upcoming title aims to deliver accessible, family-oriented competition rather than strict simulation realism. The project marks a rare new challenger in a genre largely steered by Big Ant Studios over the past decade.

The title will launch without official player or squad licenses, relying instead on generic rosters. However, legendary Australian batsman Don Bradman serves as an unlockable character through a dedicated challenge. Unlocking him also opens a dedicated minigame recreating his legendary practice routine of hitting a golf ball against a water tank using a cricket stump.

Beyond the legendary cricketer's challenge, the game features generic tournaments, skill modes, and local two-player split-screen gameplay. The developers promise variety in batting mechanics, stating that no two shots will behave identically. While a precise release date has not been announced, the game is listed as coming soon across PC, PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo platforms.
