Capcom is bringing the original PlayStation action title Dino Crisis 2 to both PlayStation 5 and PlayStation 4. The retro release is scheduled to debut on the PlayStation Store on Tuesday, October 20, 2026. Players subscribed to the PlayStation Plus Premium tier will gain immediate access, while standalone digital purchases will also be supported.
The upcoming release is a direct port of the original PS1 edition, enhanced through Sony's modern classics emulation suite. Players will have access to convenience tools including quick saves, a rewind function, and custom visual display filters to tweak the retro presentation.
Despite the emulation enhancements, players should not anticipate Trophy support. Previous retro Capcom releases on modern PlayStation hardware have launched without unlockable achievements, and Dino Crisis 2 is expected to follow that same pattern.
Announced release date: 20 Oct 2026
