Dark Souls 2 and 3 Multiplayer Suspended Across All Platforms

FromSoftware has taken Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3 multiplayer offline on all platforms while investigating an unspecified server problem.

FromSoftware has temporarily suspended network features across Dark Souls 2 and Dark Souls 3. The unexpected blackout disables invasions, cooperative summons, and player messages across all supported systems while the studio investigates an unspecified technical problem.

The developer announced the interruption on October 30, confirming that services will stay offline indefinitely. The team stated that a revised schedule for restoring multiplayer functionality will be shared once additional details are established.

Unlike a prior network outage in 2022 that was restricted to PC systems, this disruption spans every platform supporting both titles. On PC, community-hosted options such as the Seamless Co-op mod remain functional, as they rely on independent servers rather than FromSoftware's official infrastructure.
