A new update for Counter-Strike 2 has rolled out, delivering substantial quality-of-life adjustments to the demo and replay viewer. Players reviewing matches can now monitor download progress via a dedicated progress bar. Navigation has also been refined through a click-and-drag camera control scheme, functional chase and free cameras while playback is paused, and fixes for seeking bugs.

Beyond playback improvements, the patch adjusts weapons and community creation tools. The AUG has received updated reload animations for both crouched and standing positions to accurately reflect the weapon's reload duration. In addition, creators using the Workshop Tools can now utilize a new skybox occluder tool material.

Server administration and engine stability also received attention in this release. Dedicated servers now require a specific startup flag to permit round backup files. On the technical side, the update introduces an explicit list of allowable radio commands alongside overall stability enhancements for the Vulkan rendering backend.
