Subscribers to PlayStation Plus Premium and Deluxe tiers can now access a free timed trial for IO Interactive's espionage title 007 First Light. The sample provides one hour of gameplay, covering the opening prologue and early training missions designed to introduce James Bond's mechanics and narrative background.
To accompany the timed demo, the full game is receiving a promotional 40 percent discount, lowering its price to roughly $42. The stealth-action title, which surpassed four million units sold by August 2026, has previously received complimentary post-release patches, and developer IO Interactive aims to release a narrative expansion prior to the conclusion of the year.
Looking ahead, wider platform access is also in development. Players on Nintendo Switch 2 are scheduled to receive a dedicated port of the spy adventure when it launches on the platform in March.
